Sumi is an AI-assisted manga reader for chapters, ebooks, images, and web pages you have the right to read. Most translators paste white boxes over the art. Sumi detects the original text, cleans the lettering area, and re-typesets your language where it was. You can compare, edit, and keep reading in one place. IN YOUR OWN SAFARI • A Safari extension ships inside Sumi — nothing else to download • Open the manga site you already use, tap Sumi, read it in your language • Your tabs, logins and bookmarks stay exactly where they are • One page balance shared between the app and Safari • Turn it on once: Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions › Sumi READ YOUR MANGA IN YOUR LANGUAGE • Import PDF, ZIP/CBZ, EPUB, MOBI/AZW3, photos, or folders • Open web pages in Sumi's in-app browser and translate page images in place • Original text areas are cleaned and re-typeset over the page • Optional vertical CJK speech bubbles can be enabled in Translation settings • Long-press to peek at the original; tap a bubble to retranslate or fix • Webtoon mode, double-page spreads, and full-immersion reading LEARN WHILE YOU READ • Tap words for reading + meaning with a downloadable offline dictionary • Save words to your deck and review with spaced repetition • Furigana support for EPUB, MOBI, and AZW3 ebooks CHOOSE CLOUD OR OFFLINE • Cloud translation sends page or bubble images to Sumi's translation service after a one-time consent prompt • Offline mode downloads a model pack once and translates on device • When you choose offline translation, no page images leave your device FAIR, SIMPLE PRICING • 15 welcome pages free, then +5 more every day you check in • Sumi Pro includes 1,500 cloud pages per rolling 30 days — pages come back one at a time as they age out, so there is no reset date to wait for • Prefer to pay as you go? Page packs are available, and those pages never expire • Pages only count when a translation succeeds • Or unlock unlimited offline translation once, forever BRING YOUR OWN CHAPTERS Sumi does not host, crawl, or provide manga.
