Nagi is a Safari ad blocker that removes ads, trackers, and pop-ups — without breaking the pages you came to read. Where video ads in Safari are built into the video and can't be cut out, Nagi greatly shortens the wait on supported services.
■ Improve it together
When someone hides an ad that Nagi missed, they can choose to share an anonymous hint about it. Every shared hint is reviewed by a person before it ever becomes a filter, so real-world use can feed back into the block list — for everyone. Sharing is opt-in and off by default.
■ Keeps up with new ads
Ad networks change constantly. Nagi observes real pages, finds new ad-delivery sources, checks that legitimate sites aren't caught in the crossfire, and updates automatically.
■ Built not to break sites
Filters are machine-checked against legitimate sites before release. If a page still misbehaves, switch Nagi off for that one site — permanently or for 15 minutes — and leave it on everywhere else. Your exceptions sync across devices via iCloud.
■ Scam and phishing protection, built in
Blocks connections to known dangerous sites in Safari, based on trusted lists. Crypto-mining blocking is included as well. (It may occasionally block a legitimate site by mistake.)
■ Encrypted DNS, including the whole device (optional)
Encrypts your DNS lookups for privacy. Family mode blocks adult and malware sites across the entire device — other browsers and apps included, not just Safari. Handy on a shared family iPad.
(Uses Cloudflare's public resolvers; blocking follows Cloudflare's judgment, so it may miss some sites or over-block. You can turn it off anytime.)
■ Hide whatever is left, with a tap
Tap a leftover ad and it disappears — and stays hidden on that site from then on (My Rules).
■ Lighter, faster, easier on the battery
Blocked ads are never loaded, so pages tend to feel faster and use less mobile data and battery.
■ All features free
Every feature is free to use. No trial period, no purchase, no recurring payments, and no ads of our own.
■ Other features
- Hide cookie-consent banners (optional, off by default; this only hides the element and does not send consent or stop communication or cookie storage)
- Custom filter subscriptions: add external filter lists by URL
- Filter status screen: update history, observed sites, and rule counts
■ Privacy
Nagi does not collect your browsing history. There are no accounts and no ad tracking. The only thing about your browsing that can ever leave your device is the optional, anonymous ad hint described above: off by default, limited to what you chose to hide, never used for profiling and never shared with third parties, and stoppable at any time from the same switch.
[Pricing]
Every feature is free to use.
[Limitations — what it can't block]
Nagi works inside Safari. It cannot block ads inside the YouTube app, or the first-party and rewarded ads shown inside social apps such as X or Instagram; iOS does not allow any app to do that. Some ads may still get through, and new ones can appear.
